The addition worksheets on this page introduce addition math facts, multiple digit addition without regrouping, regrouping, decimals and other concepts designed to foster a mastery of all things addition. If you do not understand the common basics of algebra then you will literally be lost forever when it comes to this subject. Being lost in the early stages of algebra can be disastrous because there are many years of advanced algebra just knocking on your door. Once you become more confident and your comfort level increases, you can actually strengthen it by trying to apply simple algebraic applications to everyday life. You will soon find out that algebra is not quite as difficult as you may have once thought.
If you make your own, you can just draw three circles on a page and then 2-5 triangles on a page, and ask the child to match each circle with a triangle by drawing a line from shape to shape. Vary the shapes and the amounts. Sometimes the amounts should be equal, sometimes not.
Be careful when discussing tenths, hundredths, and thousandths with your children. Pronounce these terms with special emphasis on the “-ths” to help avoid their confusion with tens, hundreds, and thousands.
