Long Division. There are different methods for dividing multi-digit numbers (long division). One way is a combination of estimation/ trial and error and multiplication. There is also a commonly used algorithmic method that is well explained and illustrated here at mathisfun.com.
If you make your own, you can just draw three circles on a page and then 2-5 triangles on a page, and ask the child to match each circle with a triangle by drawing a line from shape to shape. Vary the shapes and the amounts. Sometimes the amounts should be equal, sometimes not.
Children may also get started with money, time, and measuring, though it is not absolutely necessary to master any of that. The teacher should keep it playful, supply measuring cups, scales, clocks, and coins to have around, and answer questions.
Students definitely grasp the lessons easier when their studies are combined with games. These methods are ideal if you find it difficult to add large numbers. Students studying at advanced level may also find these methods helpful and improve their addition skills. These games can also be adapted to most math skills. The games are fun and students forget they are learning.
