Children will be learning at school how to round up decimals to the nearest whole number. A fun way to practise this at home is to use regular dominos and establish that each piece is a decimal number (so a domino one with 3 dots and 4 dots is 3.4). Encourage them to play with the dominos, but with the rule that they can only, for example, join 2 dominos that are within 1.5 of each other. This will really get them thinking about what each decimal point represents. A number line can also be useful when rounding decimals.

Addition is one of the basic math skill. Work on different addition skills like addition of two numbers of one digit, of three numbers of 1 digit, with zero, of 2 digit number with a 1 digit number with/without carry, of 2 digit number with a 1 digit number with/without carry, of two numbers of 2 digit with/without carry, of three numbers of 2 digit with/without carry and much more.

Play math games. After mastering all of the fact families, play math games to build up speed. There are many games available online to help you master your fact families and go through them quickly. Math games are a more exciting and interactive way for children to learn the multiplication tables. Some math games include visual aids and other graphics to help you relate the numbers together. Drawing pictures to represent multiplication is another fun way to learn the tables. For 2 x 3, draw three dogs, each with two eyes and count the number of eyes (6 total).

Algebra is only going to become more advanced as the years of school pass and if one has not gained full knowledge of it at its most basic level, it will be impossible to venture on. You have to algebra one step at a time. If you do these steps over and over, your brain will start to adjust and you will like it.
